It's been a long road.

It's been over 35 years to travel the road from the farmyard in rural England, to the High Desert of Southern Arizona.

  1. Hi glad you enjoyed the blog so far, it gets really bad in a few chapters time when i had a stroke at baker Street a couple of years back.
    did you work on the Schools abroad coaches with malcolm Thurling? I only remember one driver who went to the states but the name escapes me.

  5. 308 duty wet winter friday night.How did we manage it.Respect to the then old boys Sid,Charlie,Stan and all the others.Remember the chap that used to give a cigar.Mormans.Their choir boarded and they sang most of the way to New Chapel Cross Roads,Lets Fly a Kite the works.The Jewish lady that always wanted dropping inbetween stops.I seem to remember she used try a bribe of a sweet.It did n t work with me.
    Remember that chap that went East Grinstead when he should have gone to Aylesbury.He also got lost around Gaddeston,then knocked a gate over.I spoke to him a couple of years back.Then there was the case of the
